How Scouting Maps Work

Scouting maps give you most or all flight points for their area of the Warcraft universe. Maps are generally not immediately available for purchase until specific requirements are met in a given expansion. However, once purchased, they are immediately usable on all alts.

Account Wide Toys

The following maps are permanently added to your toy collection. They cost 10,000 gold each and can be purchased from these vendors:

Bind on Account Items

The following maps cost only 100 gold making them much less expensive alternatives to the Kul Tiras and Zandalar toy available above. However, if you have more than a few alts, you may find the toy to be more convenient since you may forget who last had these maps. Also, please note that you only need to buy one. Sending the Alliance map to a Horde character automatically converts the map to the Horde version and vice versa. The map is never consumed on use.
